Does Our Internal Terrain Shapes Our Health Destiny? Part ~ 1.

Updated: Dec 3, 2023

Are you ready to discover the ultimate secret to achieving sustainable vitality?

It's time to move beyond quick fixes and understand that true health lies in cultivating a HEALTHY TERRAIN within our bodies. Let's dive in and uncover the keys to a thriving and harmonious internal environment.

OUR BODY IS A LIVING ECOSYSTEM

To fully grasp the importance of a healthy terrain, we must view our bodies as vibrant ecosystems teeming with trillions of cells and microorganisms—bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. These tiny inhabitants, residing within us, influence our well-being based on the conditions of their environment.

Imagine your body as a garden. A flourishing garden is full of life that coexists and benefits from each other in harmony. On the other hand, an unhealthy garden lacks luster and thriving elements, attracting organisms that bring troubles and diseases.

While many people might focus on addressing their chronic health problems at a surface level and attempt to treat the symptoms alone, ultimately, the true path to healing starts when we focus on addressing the toxic and imbalanced internal terrain that forms chronic inflammation, which eventually leads to the symptoms and diseases.

HOW DOES CHRONIC INFLAMMATION BECOME DISEASE?

In today's health and wellness community, the term "inflammation" is widely discussed. It's no surprise that chronic inflammation has become one of the key elements we are trying to heal and prevent.

Chronic inflammation, often sparked by lifestyle choices or environmental factors, is like a small, unending fire in your body that gradually imposes damage. Unlike the inflammation that occurs as a healing mechanism under healthy conditions, chronic inflammation keeps the immune system in a constant state of high alert. This continuous activation is a result of the presence of certain triggers in our system that provoke our immune response. Such prolonged activation can disrupt immune balance. In addition, chronic inflammation can also induce DNA damage, eventually contributing to the development of cancer, as it releases free radicals that harm DNA and foster abnormal cell growth.

Now, let's take a closer look at why our immune system often goes into overdrive that leads to chronic inflammation?

If you have a chronic health problem, you have chronic inflammation!

In a world saturated with environmental toxins like heavy metals, pesticides, plastics, chemicals, and harmful organisms such as parasites, our body and immune system really face the challenging task of recognizing and processing these inorganic or organic elements on a daily basis. While we might assume that our body can effectively escort and excrete these elements, the reality is that many of these substances often end up being stored in various areas of our bodies, such as our organs, fat cells, muscle tissues, and bones, among others. Harmful intestinal microbes or parasites also thrive in environments that are conducive to toxins.

If our body isn't burdened by an overload of stored toxins and lack of nutrients, shouldn't a healthy body and its cells operate optimally?

This is the clue we can trace back when we want to examine our chronic health symptoms more closely. Whether it's gut issues, hormone imbalances, or autoimmune problems, we're aware that something or some element is disrupting our cells and body's proper functioning.

What about our detox organs and pathways? Aren't they supposed to perform their job and keep us healthy?

Yes, and they do work hard all the time for us. However, when our body experiences chronic inflammation, it's important to recognize that it also indicates signs of stagnation and blockage in our detox organs and pathways. This causes them to function below their normal capacity for daily detoxification. In simpler terms, it's like the drainage system in our bodies has become stagnant and backed up, resulting in a lack of proper flow.

Another significant factor is that we simply haven't been providing our bodies with the high-quality nutrients they require to perform their functions properly. Our bodies are designed to be amazing self-healing machines. We are equipped with powerful detox organs and systems such as the digestive tract, lungs, kidneys, liver, skin, and the lymphatic system. They have the ability to self-regulate and self-heal. When diseases and health problems start to present, it's obvious that we have overtaxed their functions and taken them for granted. As a result, our overall health and well-being start to deteriorate, setting off a cascade of events that create a breeding ground for various health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, and more.

SO, WHY IS MY INTERNAL TERRAIN HAS TO DO WITH EVERYTHING?

TRUE HEALTH lies in our bodies' ability to ward off disease, repair, and regenerate.

We can't completely prevent toxins and harmful organisms from entering our bodies in this modern life, but we can certainly manage the extent by being conscious of our lifestyle choices and how we interact with our environment.

Cultivating a healthy terrain involves proactively addressing and clearing the blockages that stagnate our body's detox drainage systems, allowing them to flow freely again. It is also important to focus on healing the body by nourishing it with alkaline and nutrient-dense foods that facilitate true regeneration.

By prioritizing the healing of our body's internal terrain, we create an environment that is suitable for beneficial organisms to thrive and provide the healthy foundation and energy required to power our cells and our precious vessel. This approach truly holds the key to achieving sustainable vitality in the long run.
